Giveaway Rules
These rules apply to giveaways and prize drawings offered by Inbound Systems, Inc., including promotions conducted through its local awards programs, unless a specific promotion states otherwise.
Note, these rules do not apply to our primary awards program. Please see the Awards Program Rules page.
General Rules
No purchase necessary. A purchase will not increase a participant’s maximum number of available entries unless an equivalent free method of entry is also available.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Each individual promotion will identify the applicable prize, entry period or drawing time, eligibility requirements, and any additional entry instructions.
The total announced retail value of prizes offered in any individual promotion will not exceed $3,000.
Winners are selected at random from eligible entries unless otherwise stated.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Prizes are not transferable and have no cash value unless otherwise stated. Inbound Systems, Inc. may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable.
Winners are responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with a prize.
Inbound Systems, Inc. may disqualify entries that are fraudulent, automated, duplicated in violation of the applicable promotion rules, or otherwise obtained through manipulation of the promotion.
By participating, entrants agree to these rules and the decisions of Inbound Systems, Inc. regarding administration of the promotion.
Awards Ceremony Prize Drawings
Awards ceremony prize drawings are free to enter and do not require the purchase of an event ticket.
First Entry
Any eligible person may receive one drawing entry by checking in at the designated giveaway registration area during the announced check-in period.
Ticketed guests and VIP guests may check in through the event registration system. Individuals who have not purchased event admission may check in at the designated public giveaway registration area by providing the requested entry information. Their entry will be added to the same drawing as entries from ticketed guests.
The public giveaway registration area will be accessible without purchasing or entering the paid awards ceremony.
Checking in for the prize drawing does not provide admission to the paid awards ceremony.
Second Entry
A maximum of two entries per person is available.
VIP ticket holders receive their second entry automatically as a convenience included with VIP registration.
Anyone may obtain the same second entry without making a purchase by:
- Following the applicable awards program’s Facebook page;
- Entering their Facebook name or handle on the giveaway registration form; and
- Certifying that they follow the page.
No purchase or paid event admission is required to receive either available entry.
Drawing and Presence Requirement
The drawing time or drawing window will be announced before the promotion.
Entrants must be present at the designated venue or giveaway area at the time of the drawing to win.
Individuals who have not purchased event admission may remain in the designated public registration, lobby, or prize-pickup area and are not required or permitted to enter the paid awards ceremony solely because they entered the giveaway.
If a selected entrant is not present when required, another eligible entry may be selected.
Prizes provided by event guests, sponsors, or other third parties may be awarded through the drawing. Unless otherwise stated, Inbound Systems, Inc. administers the random drawing but does not manufacture or warrant third-party prizes.
Hump Day Giveaways
Hump Day Giveaways are free promotional drawings.
No purchase is necessary.
Eligible participants may earn entries by referring eligible voters or completing other free activities identified in the particular giveaway announcement.
The applicable giveaway announcement will state:
- The prize being offered
- The promotion start and end dates
- How entries are earned
- Any limit on entries
- The date or method of winner selection
The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the promotion period.
Purchasing a product, membership, sponsorship, event ticket, or other item from Inbound Systems, Inc. is not required to enter and does not increase the entrant’s odds unless an equivalent free entry opportunity is provided.
Social Media Giveaways
From time to time, Inbound Systems, Inc. may offer giveaways through Facebook, Instagram, or other social-media platforms.
No purchase is necessary.
The applicable social-media post will identify the prize, entry deadline, and required free entry actions, which may include following an account, commenting, tagging, completing a form, or another stated activity.
The winner will be selected at random from eligible entries unless the promotion specifically states otherwise.
Unless expressly stated, social-media promotions are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta, or any other social-media platform on which the promotion appears.
Participants release the applicable social-media platform from responsibility relating to the administration of the promotion to the extent permitted by law.
Business Awards Are Not Random Drawings
The selection of nominees, finalists, and winners in awards programs operated by Inbound Systems, Inc. is separate from the promotional giveaways described on this page.
Business award results are not determined by chance or by prize drawings. Awards are determined according to the voting, review, scoring, and other published award methodology applicable to the program.
Purchasing a sponsorship, membership, advertising package, event ticket, plaque, or other product does not purchase votes or guarantee nomination, finalist status, or an award.
Prize Providers
Some prizes may be donated or provided by participating businesses, sponsors, event attendees, or other third parties.
The identity of a prize provider may be announced with the applicable promotion or at the awards ceremony.
Third-party prize providers are responsible for any warranties, restrictions, expiration dates, redemption requirements, or other conditions specific to the prize they provide.
Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Inbound Systems, Inc. to identify the winner by name and to use photographs or video taken in connection with the promotion or awards event for reasonable promotional purposes without additional compensation.
Changes, Errors, and Cancellation
Inbound Systems, Inc. reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel a promotion if fraud, technical failure, venue circumstances, prize unavailability, or another event outside its reasonable control prevents the promotion from being conducted as intended.
Any modification will be administered in a manner intended to preserve a fair and lawful promotion.
Applicable Law
Promotions are void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating our giveaways shall be governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that any such dispute, claim, or controversy shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Ada County, Idaho, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
If applicable federal, state, or local law requires a provision different from these general rules, the applicable law and any promotion-specific rules will control
